About the chef
Håkon Solbakk, from Trøndelag, Norway, developed his culinary style through a deep connection with local ingredients and Nordic cuisine. His talent and precision led him to become head chef at Speilsalen at Britannia Hotel in Trondheim, where he leads a Michelin-starred kitchen focused on technical creations and Nordic flavors.
A member of the Norwegian National Culinary Team, Håkon has represented Norway at the highest level of culinary competition, including Bocuse d’Or. In 2022, he was crowned Nordic Chef of the Year.
